Particle Size Control Technology
Particle size control technology controls the size of particles by controlling the reaction conditions in the reaction process. We use this technology to produce particles of various diameters, contributing to higher battery capacity.
Overview | When cathode materials and precursors are manufactured without any particular reaction control, the particles become irregularly shaped (as mentioned on the Particle Sphering Technology page). The same applies to particle size. In particular, if cathode materials are produced without reaction control, not only the particle shape but also the size will be non-uniform. However, by controlling the reaction process with our proprietary expertise, we have succeeded in controlling the particle size of the precipitates (cathode materials) and also the uniformity of each particles’ size. Most of our products have a particle size of around 10 microns, but it is possible to produce different sizes as needed. |
