The sustainability challenges of Tanaka Chemical are to contribute to solving global environmental issues and realizing a sustainable society through activities in safety, environment, quality assurance, and social contribution activities. To achieve our challenges, we strive to continuously enhance our corporate value, based on our corporate philosophy “Aiming to create and developing new science technology while harmony between people and society”, through developing original products that combines our core technologies with new technologies and strengthens and improve our Corporate Governance.

By aiming to create and develop new scientific technologies, we are determined to improve our corporate value, to contribute to the realization of a higher quality of life for all people, and to solve various problems which society and the global environment are facing today.
To achieve such a goal, we will promote Sustainability by
positively conducting the pursuit of economic value, together with safety, environmental, quality assurance, and compliance activities as well as societal activities.
Through these initiatives, we will make our utmost effort to contribute to the development of a sustainable society, while continuing to develop ourselves.
Sustainability Action Plan
We will steadily implement the following Sustainability Action Plan, contributing to the establishment of a sustainable society through achieving sustainable growth of business, and will strive towards the rapidly expanding mega market for environmentally friendly vehicle batteries.
- 1We shall supply affordable, reliable and sustainable modern energy to all people through the development of new positive electrode materials for the next generation of rechargeable batteries.
- 2We shall implement our business activities, taking into consideration the global environment, conserving natural resources and energy, and shall secure our safe and stable operation through safety and health initiatives, improvement initiatives and other activities.
- 3We shall attain a satisfactory working condition where we continuously exhibit a high motivation to improve ourselves by enhancing our individual abilities, always keeping in mind our relationship to society.
